Fortunately, SpeedRunners is just such a game. The developers from DoubleDutch Games took the simple concept of an endless running game and combined it with a competition mode between four characters.

At the time of writing this short review, the game was still in development, but the developers already announced that they were preparing to launch a stable version. The engine used by SpeedRunners seems to be very smooth, but truth be told this is not a very demanding game.
