I then removed my sims 2 Downloads folder, but the hairs where still gone. I figured that something must have been corrupted in my game files. Hi there! Sorry you had this issue. What should i do? Sounds like you just downloaded the custom versions and not the default replacement. If you download the correct replacement files, they will override the in-game hairs.

The thumbnails will not update right away, so you may have to actually click on the individual hairs in CAS to see the changes. The game will then regenerate new ones. You will have to take them into CAS and manually change them. But the majority of your Sims will be replaced if you installed it correctly. But I downloaded the Default Replacement Skin the one that you use and the baby hair, but when I check them with Clean Installer, the baby hairs are highlighted blue and it says something about it being an incomplete bodyshop mesh?

Merged means all the facial hair defaults are in a single file. Separated means they are individual files — so you can pick and choose which ones you want.
